Held February 23rd & 24th 2026 at the Taronga Western Plains Zoo in Dubbo, NSW, this conference offers workshops, panels, and activities tailored to the needs of women in farming, balancing family, farm life, and personal growth.

We’re thrilled to welcome Alastair Mosey and Katja Williams as our dynamic co-MCs for the Harvest Her Power Conference — bringing together insight, energy and genuine connection to guide you through every session.
Alastair Mosey is a respected voice in the agricultural landscape, known for his thoughtful perspective, engaging presence, and ability to bring complex ideas to life with clarity and warmth. With deep roots in rural life and a passion for community-led growth, Alastair brings both authenticity and humour to the mic — helping to create a space where learning feels inspiring and inclusive.
Joining him is Katja Williams — founder of The Ultimate Farm Wife and co-host of the Agsolutley Fabulous podcast. Katja is a trusted advocate for women in agriculture, community building, and rural resilience. With her down-to-earth storytelling and uplifting approach, Katja champions the everyday heroes of farm life and empowers others to step boldly into leadership, purpose and connection.
Together, Alastair and Katja will weave thoughtful conversations, light-hearted moments and meaningful highlights throughout the conference experience — ensuring every attendee feels seen, heard and energised to Harvest Her Power.
Our first session explores something so many women quietly wrestle with — identity, belonging and finding your place in agriculture.
This panel brings together women with very different journeys, but a shared understanding of what it means to build confidence and purpose in rural spaces.

Paige’s story reflects a modern pathway into agriculture bringing lived experience, fresh perspective and honesty to conversations around belonging, learning on the job and carving out your own space in the industry.
Clarette Goodhead
Clarette Goodhead is an English teacher, writer and speaker living on the Eyre Peninsula in regional South Australia. Having relocated from NSW, Clarette brings a deeply personal perspective on transition, resilience and identity in rural communities. Her work explores mental wellbeing, language and the power of storytelling, and today she will share what it truly means to rebuild a sense of belonging when life takes you somewhere new.
Clare Belfield
Clare Belfield is an AgTech Specialist with the NSW Government’s Farms of the Future Program. Her career spans broadacre and mixed livestock farming, agribusiness banking, farm policy and business advisory. Clare has worked alongside hundreds of farming families, helping them solve problems not just within their businesses, but within the people behind them. Today, Clare brings a solutions-focused, practical lens to what it means to find your place and thrive in modern agriculture.
Presenter: Amanda Jane McKay
Amanda Jane McKay learned early that nature isn’t something we visit — it’s who we are. A wife and mother of three, Amanda understands the seasons women move through, from early motherhood to the quiet longing for deeper self-connection. For over a decade, she has held soulful, grounded spaces for women to reconnect with themselves, with each other and with the land. Today, Amanda invites us to slow down, realign and reconnect — not as an escape from farm life, but as a way to move within it with more ease and authenticity.
Presenter: Malinda Guest – Boundless Psychology
Malinda is a Clinical Psychologist, director of Boundless Psychology, and a passionate advocate for rural mental health.
Balancing the roles of mother, wife, psychologist, mentor and supervisor, Malinda understands the realities rural families face. She is the creator of the Let’s Talk TACTICS and Know Your Mates frameworks, designed to improve communication and connection — especially when conversations matter most.
Drawing on evidence-based therapy approaches and real-world rural experience, Malinda will guide us through relationships, dating, and intimacy in rural life.
Fletcher International Exports is one of Australia’s most integrated processors and exporters of lamb and sheep meat products. A private, family-owned company, Fletcher International operates two highly efficient processing facilities: one located in Dubbo, New South Wales; and the other near Albany in Western Australia. These two plants have a combined processing capacity of more than 90,000 sheep and lambs per week, which equates to over 4.5 million head per year.
The Fletcher meat processing philosophy has always been to utilise as much of each animal as possible. Consequently, in addition to lamb and sheep meat products, wool and sheep skins, the company markets a diverse range of high quality by-products.
The expansion of the company’s farming interests has continued to increase the degree of vertical integration across the business. These interests have strengthened the livestock supply chain, while providing a source of quality crossbred lambs consistently throughout the year. Secondly, the grain produced at the company’s properties is sold directly to end users in export markets.

Fiona McArthur – From Paddock to Publication
Fiona McArthur is a midwife-turned-author who understands rural life deeply — from delivering babies in Kempsey to farming in northern NSW with her husband for the past 18 years.
With more than 60 books published internationally and multiple literary awards to her name, Fiona’s stories celebrate rural women, resilience and community. Tonight, Fiona will share her journey of nurturing dreams alongside farm life — reminding us that big dreams often grow from small, persistent steps.

Katja Williams is the voice behind The Ultimate Farm Wife podcast, co-host of Agsolutely Fabulous, and the founder and president of the Harvest Her Power Conference.
A farmer, farm wife and mother of four, Katja lives and works alongside her husband on their family farming enterprises, juggling livestock, business operations and motherhood. With over a decade immersed in farm life and rural advocacy, Katja is passionate about helping women find clarity, confidence and boundaries within family farming businesses.
Today, Katja shares practical, lived strategies to prevent burnout, protect identity and create sustainable roles — not just for the business, but for the women within it.

Julia Pursehouse – The Farmer’s Florist
Julia Pursehouse is the founder of The Farmer’s Florist, a business born on Breeza Station on the Liverpool Plains.
What began with succulents and dried crops harvested from the farm has grown into a thriving floristry business that blends creativity, sustainability and agriculture. Balancing motherhood, farm life and entrepreneurship, Julia’s work celebrates locally sourced florals and rural storytelling. Today’s hands-on workshop invites you to experience the beauty of farming through flowers.

Alice is the founder of WDI Clinic. A registered nurse with over 12 years of nursing experience including six years in cosmetic medicine.
Starting her nursing career in Walgett, western NSW, she grew a love and passion for country towns and their people. This sparked the concept of a mobile service bringing ‘WDI Clinic’ to life in early 2018. Alice’s background is in emergency medicine having completed a postgraduate degree and continues to work part time to maintain and develop clinical skills.
Driven by a commitment to excellence and deep understanding of aesthetic trends, Alice has cultivated a practice renowned for its dedication to personalised care and transformative results. She believes in the power of merging artistry with science, ensuring that each client receives tailored results with a desire to exceed their expectations. Alice enforces the concept that facial aesthetics should be nurtured in a way that benefits and celebrates natural shape and facial features. An ethos that is filtered through the curated team of dedicated trained cosmetic practitioners at WDI Clinic.
Alice shall primarily be working in Dubbo, Gunnedah and Walgett.
The Buckenbah Collective is a grounded, real-world case study showing how modest farm equity can be used as a catalyst for wealth creation—without compromising long-term succession outcomes. The journey began with a deliberately small step: borrowing $150,000 against farmland to acquire an off-farm asset. No shortcuts, no rush—just patience, discipline and clear intent.
Four years on, that first move has evolved into a standalone property trust, demonstrating that “owning something” doesn’t have to wait until succession is complete. It speaks directly to adult children in family farming businesses who understand succession is a marathon, not a sprint—but who are asking whether a responsible amount of equity can be unlocked to support off-farm opportunities, including ventures led by sons- or daughters-in-law.
This presentation unpacks the practical mechanics behind the journey: how farm equity is extracted, what banks need to see to say yes, and how loans and risk are structured legally and financially. It explores forecasting tools that model patient-capital outcomes over 5, 10, 15 and 20 years, the advantage of starting in your 30s or 40s, and the real risks and rewards of off-farm commercial and industrial investment.
Just as importantly, it addresses the human side of the equation—how to approach landowners, how to fairly recognise and record sweat equity, and why a well-structured “side hustle” can create momentum, confidence and optionality while broader succession and tax planning quietly runs its course.
